Systematic Theology (Abridged) by Charles Hodge.

P&R.-1997.   lfpb.   592pp.

During his tenure at Princeton Theological Seminary, and later through his Systematic Theology, Charles Hodge has contributed to the training of many thousands of theology students. Having been in print since 1872, this book has served as a primary textbook in many leading seminaries.

This version is a careful abridgment of Hodge’s three-volume systematic theology in a convenient single volume. This new edition captures the full essence of Hodge’s theology, minus the more esoteric material and untranslated Latin quotations. Incisive study questions at the end of the volume will help to make Hodge’s Systematic Theology useful not only to students of theology but also to interested laypeople for many decades to come.
