Bound in a recent 1/4 calf binding with marbled boards, raised bands and gilt lettering to spine. Later signature to title page, recto and verso. Near contemporary signatures on latin dedicatory page. A small number of light contemporary mss. notes in margins of first few pages. Title page laid down otherwise a good copy of popular Puritan work. Reprinted a number of times in the early 17th century, and later by the Banner of Truth Trust in facsimile. USTC 3065707; R31915.
